Greetings - does any kind reader have an install Disk for 10.5 for my
newly rejuvenated iMac G4 that they could sell to me? I had 10.4 but the
restore disks are damaged :(...the only version the shops are selling is
10.6 which won't work on my PPC iMac.

I'm in Melbourne not that far from 3000.

Why not go to <alt.binaries.mac.applications> and look for

Mac OS X Install DVD.cdr.zip ... Attn: Hobbes 10.5

That, I suspect, is what you're looking for. If you're uncertain you
could post a direct question to the OP.

Shame you're not in 2000.

Wise suggestion!

I've found this:

(Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Retail Install DVD) [01/22] - "Mac OS X 10.5
Leopard Retail Install DVD.sfv" yEnc (1/1)
collection size: 7.75 GB, parts available: 32251 / 32251
- 11 par2 files
- 10 rar files
- 1 sfv file

at alt.binaries.mac

Thank you!

According to <http://www.applebits.net/> they can obtain 10.5 'from
their suppliers' in 2-5 days. They are in Melbourne.

My supplier wasn't interested in helping. Charming!

I polished my recovery disks and installed 10.4.

All back to normal (except that I have an external LED screen...:()
